Daily review of bills of shipment activity, including an overview of all shipments in terms of freight planning, routing compliance and optimization. Respond to all requests from Customer Service within two hours of receipt. Timely dissemination of all information to appropriate parties. Coordinate the inbound flow of product from the point of origin to receipt at the dedicated facility, including the oversight of equipment availability, cost alternatives, inbound scheduling and shipments in transit. Calculate cost savings for each client according to a predetermined process. Transportation experience encompassing parcel, LTL and truckload modes. Exposure to carrier price structure, contracts, performance metrics. Knowledge of cargo claims rules and practices. Strong analytical skills.
